McCracken Cultural Society’s
Irish Language Awards 2006
In March 2006, during the
St.Patrick’s festivities in the college the McCracken Cultural Society team
called in to examine students’ irish speaking skills.
A great day was had by
all and the awards included:-
Year 8 : “Cúpla Focal” badge
“ a few words”
Year 9 : “Bunteastas”
Basic certificate
Year 10 : “An Fáinne Airgid”
Silver Fáinne
Year 11 : “ Méanteastas”
Intermediate
certificate
Year 12 : “ An Fáinne Óir”
Gold Fáinne.
Year 13/14 : Ardteastas
