Unfortunately it is not good news.  Lidia writes, "Despite the fact we are suffering due to the terrible disaster we are certain we will know how to cope with it.  School isn't starting this week, because there are a lot of buildings that have serious damage and others are going to be used to host homeless people.  So we think we won't be able to participate in the math day.  However we plan to let you know as soon as we manage to have a sort of meeting in order to organise our ideas. Then Kevin passed on an email with a message from Ricardo, one of the principals who visited Shimna last year, "Many of the buildings have cracked or parts of walls collapsed.  All waiting for assessment before being allowed to use.  Robinson has lost his house.  Eusebio's old building will probably have to be demolished and he has not heard from his two brothers."   Robinson and Eusebio also visited Shimna, and our thoughts are with them.
